Let’s catch up

So y’all may have noticed a big change here or maybe didn’t notice anything at all. Slow Southern Style was down for about a day while I was changing the URL. I can now say that I now proudly own www.slowsouthernstyle.com! No more www.slowsouthernstylenola.blogspot.com so the site should be easier to type in and hopefully easier to find. Please update your bookmarks accordingly but if you forget the old URL will take you to the new one.

I also got a mention in the Times Picayune‘s Wish section about New Orleans online shopping and local blogs! I haven’t seen it yet but Creative Tao was nice enough to break the news to me. If anyone has seen it please let me know what it says and I’d love to have a copy, even if it is a scanned one.

And my biggest, most exciting news….*drumroll*..

I’ve been working on something special with Scott of  Iheartnola. We’re throwing a joint party to celebrate our blogs turning one year old and we want everyone to come! So cross off Thursday, October 7th on your social calender and get ready to party at The Factory, a new  venture for Skip n’ Whistle. We are still working on the details but expect a night filled with fashion, art, music, photography, and fun.  I’m looking forward to meeting y’all there!
