My last post highlighted independent designers that are putting forth their profits to assist in the oil spill clean up. After balling my eyes out looking at animals covered in oil I knew that I needed to do more. My love for my home state runs deep and I can’t sit aside and let other people take care of this mess.
I don’t sell products so I can’t donate proceeds from merchandise. What I can do is simpler than that.
For the entire month of June every time someone visits Slow Southern Style I will personally donate $0.05 to the Louisiana Wildlife Federation. As of this posting there have been 87 views this month, which amounts to $4.35.
I am also challenging readers to donate $0.01 for every page view. My combined goal is $300. Together we can help.
